Roberto Lewandowski’s future remains the subject of intense speculation, and he has apparently turned down a move to Turkey.
It is no secret that Milan are interesting in signing Lewandowski on a free transfer when his contract expires in June 2026. According to Sky Germany (via FootballItalia), Lewandowski has rejected a proposal from Fenerbahce because he wishes to play at a higher level.

The fact that the Pole continues to seem to prioritise the right sporting experience over a big pay day from potentially his last big contract gives Milan some hope. Saudi clubs have been linked, and they can offer salaries that most European clubs cannot get near.
It is a similar situation to the one seen with Luka Modric. His contract at Real Madrid ran out in the summer and Milan signed the 40-year-old Croatian, who is showing he can still play at an elite level. Like Lewandowski, Modric wanted to keep playing at a top European club, snubbing the Middle East.
What Lewandowski said
Lewandowski spoke to TVP Sport about his future, and admitted that it will soon be getting to decisions time given his deal has just a few more months on it.
“I will soon be ready to decide which direction to take, I will evaluate all the options. I don’t know where I’ll be or what I will want to do in a few months’ time,” he said.
Lewandowski moved from Bayern Munich to Barcelona for €45m in 2022. He has seven goals in 12 appearances for the Catalan side this season across all competitions.
Lew has a about 2 WC goalscoring seasons in him. He would certainly score goals in this Milan team, against anyone at that.
