MN: Lille star desperate for €30m Milan move – one things needed to ‘complete the puzzle’

By Oliver Fisher -

The Milan management are using the international break to try and get some pieces in place ahead of next season and talks are ongoing over Sven Botman, a report claims.

According to MilanNews, there will be an acceleration in the next few weeks by Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to try and get as many deals in place for transfer targets before the summer window even opens, and Botman is one of those players for whom contacts are continuous and frequent.

There is a direct line between the parties but a final economic agreement between Milan and Lille is needed to ‘complete the puzzle’ as per the column. The two clubs have been working for weeks to reach an agreement at around the €30m mark.

The 22-year-old Dutch defender is waiting and is impatient to receive the phone call saying that everything is done because he cannot wait to start his new experience with the Rossoneri. Barring twists, he should be Fikayo Tomori’s partner next year.
