Lille’s Champions League last 16 exit against Chelsea should pave the way for a summer clear out and Renato Sanches is expected to be sold to AC Milan, a report claims.
According to L’Équipe (via GFFN), Lille are expected to undergo a bit of an overhaul this summer given their financial situation and Renato Sanches is among the names expected to leave. He missed the second leg of the tie against the Blues, but was Lille’s best player in the 2-0 first leg defeat.

The report adds that the 24-year-old is set to join Milan at the end of the season as part of what could be a double deal between Lille and the Rossoneri involving centre-back Sven Botman.
The good relations between the two clubs – as seen in the Rafael Leao, Tiago Djalo and Mike Maignan operations – could certainly open up a preferential lane for Maldini and Massara to try and exploit.
