MN: Lingard’s Manchester United departure confirmed amid Milan links

By Euan Burns -

Jesse Lingard’s departure from Manchester United has been officially confirmed by the club amid links with a move to AC Milan, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News today, the English midfielder is leaving the club that he has been attached to for his entire career as his contract has expired.

Over the past few months, he has been linked with a move to Milan who want to add more depth and quality to their attacking options.

The player has had some very good patches of form with United during his career and he also had a very successful loan spell at West Ham United last season.

Given he would be available for free he is definitely a player that Paolo Maldini will be looking at very closely. He could command quite a high wage though as he is coming from one of the richest clubs in the world.

  1. We already have Lord Krunic and Lord Ballo Toure, you want to add Lord Lingard? Is too many

What next, Lord Phil Jones and Lord Harry Maguire? Cmon give us a break, the banter era is over.

    1. Krunic is solid and gives his all. Undeserved criticism. Lingard however is trash. Only English people like Jesse Lingard because he has flashes of brilliance but overall he’s just a reheated turd sandwich.

  2. No way. Lingard isn’t coming here. We don’t want him and he doesn’t want to come here. This article is a waste.

  3. This Maldini and his preferenc for grandfahters, Isco is 30 Lingard is 29 i cannot understand that italien way of thinking? Bayern took Gravenberch 20, ManCity Haaland 21, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Camavinga, Havertz, Foden and i have to read this clueless articles again.
