AC Milan are one of several European clubs interested in signing Manchester United playmaker Jesse Lingard when his deal expires, a report claims.

According to the Daily Mail, Lingard is in talks with a number of potential clubs who are keen on acquiring him on a free transfer including Serie A duo Milan and Juventus plus Paris Saint-Germain and even Newcastle United as he prepares to leave Manchester United after 22 years at the club.

They claim that sources close to the forward have ruled out the chance of incoming manager Erik ten Hag persuading him to stay having become irritated at his current situation and lack of playing time.

He did not even make it onto the field during the win over Brentford on Monday night in what would have been an Old Trafford farewell for him.

Lingard has started just four games in all competitions this season and is now ready to leave, believing a new start will help him break back into the England squad before the World Cup in Qatar.

        1. Oh trust me I agree. The man is a powerhouse every time he comes on. Never complains, fills in for our numerous injuries and lack of depth. Probably our most important non-starter
