Moves for Rasmus Hojlund and Dusan Vlahovic are looking more difficult at present, so AC Milan could be forced to look elsewhere.
The mercato is getting to the late stages now. In fact, it is probably now when Milan would be hoping to close for a striker. Yet here we are. There are no deals in close proximity, and there are difficulties in the chase for both of their leading options.

Hojlund is now a target for a few clubs, whilst the Serbian star is far too expensive for the Rossoneri to bring in at present. In both cases, things can be solved, but it is reliant on the club being bold and others not.
A Redbird recruit
The pair are not the only option, though. However, they may be the best ones. Behind them, according to Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, is Conrad Harder, the Danish striker who was forced to sit behind Viktor Gyokeres last season.
Despite this, he still scored six times with five assists, including one in the Champions League against Bologna. At 20 years old, he is a risk; rather than getting a proven frontman, the club would instead get someone to improve, either for themselves in the long term or to sell.

This idea is why he is being listed as more of a RedBird candidate than maybe what is needed, after all, Massimiliano Allegri wanted a top-level #9 to arrive.
To bring the Dane, Sporting are asking for €28 million, a figure well below his release clause of €80m. However, this figure can also be lowered, given that he is not even the club’s starting striker. It will be a case of strategy now, and time is running out to decide who they want to pursue.

At this point we should have just kept Camarda if we are going to opt on getting an unproven 20 year old from the portuguese league….
Camarda is 17, still has a lot of time. We should have kept Jovic who can actually hold the ball and Colombo as 3rd option.
We just need backup for Gimenez, something that Camarda can fill.
Not sure about that, but i guess will see how Camarda will do in Lecce with more playing time.
No, i mean he can BUT it is much better for his development to play week in and week out. wouldnt you agree? It’s not a matter of whether he can or not… he obviously can. But at this age, he needs to play as often as he can possibly can. We cant offer him that. But as someone already pointed out, we should’ve just kept Jovic instead. (if we are going for an average player). I thought the idea of letting them go (Jovic and Tammy) was to make room for an established 20+ goal guy. (hence Vlahovic’s links). But looks like we are just getting some rando, again.
My thoughts exactly.
Yeah we should keep him and let him rot in the bench and disappear in years like our wasted talents before him
If he could develop to be Haaland fine but if he turned to be Kasper Dolberg is another thing.. lol
So Milans new top level striker should be Sportings bench warmer (this after Gyökeres left)?
How far we have fallen
RedBird +soccer= 🎪🎪🎪🎪🎪
Funny management they kmw they can’t sign vhlovic and Højlund all this while they just using us to make fun..😂😂😂very funny management pls sign Jackson instead😂😂😂
2024 2025:
2031 minutes played, 23 goal contributions, one every 92.6 minutes, decent averages, most came against small teams though.
He also scored against Bologna in the CL, and Benfica in domestic cup match. So he can be useful in big matches.
Sure fire target? Hardly. Reliable backup if Gimenez goes down or good starter if he plays side by side with him regularly? Hardly.
Decent project to develop with sporadic game time over a couple of seasons? Yes. 28 millions a good price? No way. If we want a solid option that guarantees results, they need to try Harder…but Conrad isn’t that one they need to go for right now unless he is a third one, should be the second arrival if possible.
23 mil is ok, not 28 mil.
a 20yo no one has heard of? To play in the pressure cooker that is San Siro? Next…
I’m getting Harder!
Grab him!!! He is a future star. He has everything. We’ll pass like we alway do and he’ll be 70 mill in 2 years.
