AC Milan have made Darwin Nunez the first choice target for the striker role and they will try to land him from Liverpool.

Many names have been linked, but Nunez is a name that will not go away. The Uruguayan could leave Anfield before the new season starts despite the €80m+ Liverpool paid for him, and Matteo Moretto also confirmed Milan’s interest recently.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan are making an attempt to sign Nunez from Liverpool, who is their first choice target not. Negotiations remain difficult, most likely due to the high costs involved.
The Uruguayan represents the first choice for Igli Tare, who is pushing and wants to test if the margins exist to make the operation happen. Negotiations also remain complicated because Al-Hilal are interested in Nuñez, but Milan have already spoken to the player.
The Saudi club have not yet submitted an official offer, but they remain vigilant and they are able to put forward a big financial package. Arnaud Kalimuendo (Stade Rennais), Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus) and Rasmus Hojlund (Manchester United) are also on the list for the Rossoneri.

I think he is too expensive for Milan. Especially if there is a possibility of getting Hojlund or Ramos on loan with option. Just seems like a better option for Milan.

He’d be a great striker in the right set up. Personally I think he’d smash the Italian league and grab a load of goals. I’m a Liverpool fan and think the press he gets is ridiculous as he’s a decent player. Just not what we need with our tactics. I personally like AC as a club too so hope he’d do well there.

Darwin is a complete striker—he’s got it all: technique, pace, a powerful shot, and solid dribbling. He actually reminds me of Shevchenko. There’s no reason to be worried about his tough spell at Liverpool; he was simply stuck in the shadow of Mo Salah. Honestly, most forwards would struggle in that setup—the whole team is built around Salah. It’s similar to how Sheva struggled at Chelsea—not because he was less talented than Drogba, but because the system was tailored to maximize Drogba’s strengths. This is the best news I have heard about AC Milan since we bought Pato.
This. Pre Liverpool Darwin was a beast. He would kill and eat in serie a but let’s be real, we can’t afford him.

He do have all the strength you are mentioning, but not sure about shooting and scoring, and i often watch Liverpool with my friend who is a fan of the club. He is a player who fits Allegri, but he is not worth it.

Take Emegha from Strasburg,bettet,cheaper and at the end he is finisher. Nunez is not good anymore same like Jovic,Vlahovic,Morata they scored after a lot missing chancies.We not play Europe so just bring some young player and with Gimenez make him play. Emegha will be top player soon. Kalimendo is also very good but i think we need taller player.
Nunez will be a good addition to the sqad he is a good striker,he has pace never say die with Leao pullìsic he will get the proper services to score ba many goals,good in the air,can take player on,if we have enough money we should get NUNEZ,If not try vlahovic from juve…

I always liked Uruguayan strikers (Forlan, Cavani, Suarez) so i would be happy IF we sign him. But to be honest i do no believe that we have a budget for that.
Nunez has skill, but is way too expensive and has problems even scoring most of the time. He’s not clinical at all. I know we want to try to do a younger Giroud situation, but I don’t think that’s it here.

If we can’t afford the extra 2m to land Jashari and refuse to spend over 15m for Vlahovic then there’s no chance we could land Nunez
