After the meetings yesterday, a little more has been decided about the future of AC Milan’s midfield, with some players left to go.
There has been a lot of talk about the forward and defensive units at Milan, but the midfield has gone under the radar a little bit, with it already seemingly pre-determined almost.

This morning, Gazzetta dello Sport have looked at the situation a little more and who is likely to stay and go, starting with those in the latter category.
Youssouf Fofana is set to leave after a meeting with his agents at Casa Milan yesterday. The Frenchman has plenty of interest abroad and they want to regain the €25 million which they paid for him a few years ago.
Sticking with Frenchmen, Warren Bondo can also be added to the list of departures with an €8m fee required.
Now, Ruben Loftus-Cheek can also be added to this list. Ruben Amorim isn’t keen on him and the midfielder’s deal expires next summer. If there is no interest in a permanent deal, a mutual termination of his deal could even be explored.
It is the same situation with Ismael Bennacer, who is very far away from the Rossoneri’s future plans.
Staying at Milan
Moving forward, Ardon Jashari is seen as key and that message was relayed to his entourage during the meeting yesterday. There is also a hope for Luka Modric moving forward, but that information was already known.
Elsewhere, the future will ‘revolve’ around Samuele Ricci and Adrien Rabiot with Gerry Cardinale looking to protect both of them.
Sell, baby, sell, sell them all except for Rabiot and YF and maybe (and this is a BIG! maybe) Ardon or Ricci; also, add Musah to the list of the redundant players, he is worth (at the very least) 15-20 million euros. Hjulmand (Fofana, ???), Rabiot (Ardon, Comotto);

Ricci has flopped big time in my opinion. Ricci has not shown any character. Even the mistake making Jashari has shown more character. I know he is a nice guy and great for the dressing room probably but he just does not belong in Milan. I think torino was happy for the 25million.
He definitely needs to step up, but I’d like to see both him and Jashari given the chance to do so.
We are about to play football that will look nothing like that of last season. Anyone Amorim keeps and plays has to be viewed with a clean slate.
100% Ricci was a complete flop. Italian media continue to shove him down Milan fans throats. He was the most useless player in the Milan squad and does not have the quality to play for Milan.

Jimi my friend. Ricci played 30 Serie A games and 3 Coppa Italia. That’s 33 matches!!!!! And you are saying he was never given the chance????…he was GIVEN 33 CHANACES……33!!! And he flopped 33 times!! come on man! Did you not watch him all season being 100% medicore?
Maybe he played 33 matches but only for cameo last 15 minutes. With that limited time, can football players show up his talent ?? I don’t think so…

Amatucci seems like a good talent for the future as well, will be good to cash in on RLC, Bondo, fofana. Give one more season to Jashari and ricci they will get more game time for sure this season with Europa league as well.
