Massimiliano Allegri will be short of options again for the game against Pisa, as Ruben Loftus-Cheek has not recovered.
In his pre-match press conference, Allegri volunteered some information regarding the fitness of two players. He confirmed that Christopher Nkunku has recovered, but Loftus-Cheek would have to be assessed in the final session today.

“Tomorrow Nkunku will be on the bench, today we’ll evaluate Loftus-Cheek. Tomorrow we need to take another step forward,” he said.
RLC verdict arrives
According to what is being reported by Sky, Loftus-Cheek will be unavailable for tomorrow night’s game at San Siro. Unfortunately, the Englishman is still dealing with some discomfort from the muscle strain suffered last week.
In his place, it is likely that the 18-year-old Milan Futuro player Emanuele Sala will be called up, just as he was against Fiorentina. It would be another boost for the young talent, amid news that a contract extension is close to being agreed as well.
Sky add that Nkunku will make his return to the matchday squad, starting on the bench. Santiago Gimenez and Rafael Leao will be the chosen pair up front, while in defence Koni De Winter is expected to be given his first league start.

With Bennacer gone, RLC has stepped up and become the main man in the infirmary. No longer in his shadow, he will go for Wheelchair D’Or 🔥🔥🐐🐐👩🦽👩🦽
Hahahaha – Brilliant comment. 🙂 Wheelchair D’Or
Jokes aside – the part that I don’t understand is – it feels Milan players are getting more injured then other players.
What could be the reasons?
1) are workloads too heavy?
2) is the surface they are running/training on too hard?
3) are they more inclined to be injured? if yes – what is our medical team doing in assessing them? I mean, I have a Garmin watch that tells me when to train and when not to train – and it’s pretty accurate. I can only imagine Milan has something much much much better.
To be fair as of late, most of our injuries happened due to the international break, or rather I should say, the international onslaught.
Now, players like Loftus-Cheek, Nkunku, Estupiñán and Pulišić were always prone to injury even before coming to us.
When Pioli was our coach, it was also suspected that the athletic preparator Matteo Osti was behind many of our injuries and the situation seemed to have improved a little when he was gone.
The man just can’t make up his mind whether he wants to stay unfit or play inconsistently… it’s either one or the other
Just like old times.. RLC always injuries and always have muscle problem…
Is this the same Emanuele Sala who has been in and around the Milan youth team for years?
It’d be nice if he finally got a break.
With Jashari, RLC and Rabiot injured the midfield do feel a little light. Good thing is we can still field 3 really good midfielders from start. Substitutes will be hard thou.
Nkunku can come on as an attacking midfielder, and it would be fun to see Sala or someone else from the youth team get a few minutes in the last quater.
Where is the f the futuro players Victor eletu and Silvano Vos wtf
