CM: Loftus-Cheek and Tomori can leave Milan for a combined fee of €30m this summer

This summer, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori can leave AC Milan and neither will cost a major fortune for anyone.

Despite being rather large parts of the Milan team over the past few years, it is clear that Tomori and Loftus-Cheek have seen their last days with the club. Indeed, both are heading for exits, which is a little shocking.

Only a few months ago, there were discussions about renewals for both. Yet, here we are, sitting and waiting for their exits to become a tangible possibility.

€30m for the pair

According to Calciomercato.com, the revolving door is continuing this summer and there are several players who could find themselves heading away from Milanello. Of course, this includes Tomori and Loftus-Cheek.

The Chelsea duo have been targeted by Coventry City already and they are free to leave the club this summer, with a move back to the Premier League likely in both cases.

For Tomori, an exit will only cost somewhere in the region of €15-20 million, which is certainly very affordable. In the midfielder’s case, a fee of at least €10m will be required. Considering his deal expires next summer, there may be some wiggle room on this figure. We shall have to see.

    1. yup. we know what he can offer and his ceiling has been reached. he did ok over the years, was on fire when we got the scudetto but this is it, thanks dude but at this point we need more

    1. You are way too dramatic or being willfully ignorant because you dislike the ownership. The financial restrictions in place the last 8 years have been lifted. The budget is no longer dependent on sales. Making the same mistake would be postponing the most important purchases until after wait months to sell dead wood.
Time to move on from old gripes although I’m convinced you’re one of those ppl that will never be happy. You’d definitely be criticizing them if they hadn’t signed Gila and Ramos in favor of trying to sell low value/demand players first. In fact I’m pretty sure you were complaining last summer about how slow the mercado was progressing because Milan were focused on offloading players rather than reinforcing the squad…

      1. Agreed, some here complain no matter what, as if they want to see the club we love fail. Hell i think some would complain if we won Champions League

      2. Disagreeing with someone over their opinion is one thing. But to criticize them over a jaded view of what this ownership had been doing since they took over is ignorant.

Have you not been here since the last Scudetto? Or are you just a hopeless optimist? RedBird has a lot of “winning over” to do with a fan base that remember what Milan used to be and represent.

      3. Hahahaha! Did I strike a nerve or something ? 😂

Speaking of willfully ignorant, do you not have eyes to see what has happened over the past 3 -4 years? Or are you just mad when ppl bring up raw facts. It’s not even an opinion at this point. We got virtually a whole team 3 years ago, only one (Pulisic ) remained that was good; we got 5 players in a winter transfer window and only 1 remained, not sure if he’ll come good. And I haven’t even gotten into the other windows.

That’s not even beginning to form a critique, that’s just plain facts. So then, you tell us how good has recruitment really been? What are the results to show? 8th? 5th? Are you happy with this? You think buying a substitute striker from another team for 75m makes sense? This is what you are hanging your hat on? I personally don’t follow Gila so, as I have commented elsewhere, don’t have enough info to go by to form an informed opinion so i hope the rest of the commenters here are correct. But go ahead and fabricate whatever it is about me or putting words in mouth. I think ppl have more sense than that.
Same thing happened last year with Jashari where I hadn’t seen the kid but for some reason many Milan fans were watching Brugge games and had high opinions about him. You don’t see them around anymore but here I am defending that signing as if I supported that signing in the first place. You dig?

Seeing as it’s clear you partially read my previous comments and/or can’t comprehend them I’ll set it straight for you. The site is searchable after all. For the umpteenth time I’ve always written that this ownership and also Elliot did a great job at the financial aspect of the club. Redbird, Gerry in particular, has done an atrocious job on the sporting side from the Youth development all the way up to the first team.
That’s less of an opinionated statement these days. Your comment about finances are bit off the mark as well. Our settlement agreement has been lifted. It doesn’t mean we can just spend willy nilly as we please. Far from. We’re still under the Financial Fair Play rules which have been revamped, as are all clubs. Loosely, we still cannot make more than 60m in losses across 3 years. The fact that we’re in the hole for 25m last year and FOR SURE Gerry isn’t going to fill that loss with his own money, and already in the hole 100m this year , means that it’s imperative we need to sell ….coming full circle on my original comment. It doesnt mean we can’t buy though, Kool, to your point. Just that it can present issues when trying to extract value. That part wasn’t that deep lol 😆.

    Tomori and Loftus-Cheek = 30
    F. Terracciano and Ricci = 15-20
    Musah and Chukwueze = 40-45
    Fofana and Bondo = 30
    Estupinan = 10-15
    Bennacer and Leao = 75-80
    (Gimenez is off the market)
    _________________________ = 210 (give or take)

all those loan(ee)s and Tonali cca 45, TV rights 20

275 million euros (more or less)

    Told ya 🤓

        1. I love how you refuse to take criticism on your football manager posts but are the first to criticise anyone else who dares to post one.

          1. It’s the things you criticize me for but even then you’ll get a reply because I have (got) nothing to be ashamed of and nothing to hide. What was so wrong with me being an “accountant” when the article in question was about that very topic, honestly?

    1. Leao 60
      Saelemakers 20
      Tomori 15
      Chukweze 15
      Loftus Chick 10
      Bondo 7
      Terraciano 7
      Bennacer 5
      Estupinian 1
Go for Nusa, Zaniolo, Kean, Bellanova, Isaksen, Orsolini

      1. Estupinan 😀 Chukwueze only 15 million euros? Where is Musah’s valutation? I don’t think Alexis will be sold this summer. Isaksen is a winger, we need attacking midfielders. Kean would be very expensive for a backup striker, I would imagine.

  2. Theres a role for Tomori if he’s happy not starting. RLC was cooked 2 seasons ago, I’m staggered he’s still here.

      1. That about sums Jashari up. And to think folks in here can’t believe their own eyes and want him to stay. He did absolutely nothing today, as usual.

          1. Keep making excuses for him…He was awful, period. Nothing anyone says will change that. but yeah go ahead a keep dreaming of that good player that we haven’t seen.

Estupinan and Nkunku had average first seasons as well….wanna give them the same benefit of the doubt??? Thought not!

  3. Not one comment about how Milan are short on CBs? If Milan are playing 3 at the back, they will need 5-6 CBs. Gila arriving does not mean any of the current CBs has to leave.

Why sell Tomori? and bring in who? Gabbia, Tomori and Pavlovic should stay. Add Gila and another of equal quality and promote one from the junior ranks. No CL but Milan will be playing Europa League and depth will matter.

    1. We also have De Winter and the ‘mysterious’ Udogu. With or without Tomori, I think we’re pretty sorted on CB dept

        1. Yes, Bart can perform pretty well there too. Another CB for Fik replacement will be great but for now I think we have other more important post(s) to be filled. Namely wingbacks and right AMC.

Assuming Modric will extend and Rabiot will stay, I think the central mid post doesn’t need to be changed much. Except if a profile like Hjulmand comes. Then we need to shuffle it up too.

          1. Well said. Just one thing, Hjulmand and Trincao are on their way to Atletico Madrid so no Hjulmand for us, sadly.

          2. Damn, Atletico already got one of our ‘targets’ in Grimaldo. They’re building great team for the upcoming season.

      1. Milan would be 1 injury and one suspension away from having a CB shortage. We need one more in addition to Gila and if Tomori needs we need yet another CB…why sell. Tomori is reliable fast and our best defender in 1v1…by far. You recall he just missed out on the WC, just.

  4. Tomori 20m euro, RLC 10m euro, Yunus musah 15m euro, bennacer 0 euro, chukwu 20m euro, Leao 30m euro, Fofana 20m euro, Pervis 15m euro. ACM can get 130m euro if can sell this player and save their salary. That 130 m euro can get inacio, caretzas and new LWB for pervis replacement
