Longo: Azmoun links not concrete as Milan remain focused on Chelsea striker

By Isak Möller -

Sardar Azmoun is the latest striker to be linked with a move to AC Milan but as per Italian media, the interest is not that concrete. In fact, the Rossoneri remain focused on Chelsea’s Armando Broja.

Lorenzo Colombo is expected to join Monza on a season-long loan and therefore, Milan are set to bring in a striker before the window closes. Broja is their primary target, per Italian media, but Azmoun has also been linked with the club.

Bild suggests that Milan already have an agreement with the player and that they are in talks with Bayer Leverkusen. However, according to Daniele Longo, there is no agreement and there are no ongoing negotiations.

Milan, instead, remain focused on Broja for the centre-forward role. The 21-year-old could perhaps leave Chelsea on loan this summer – at least that’s the formula the Rossoneri want – and it remains to be seen whether the move will materialise or not.

  1. Whoever has a fetish for Chelsea players needs to fired. Broja is recovering from a cruciate ligament injury. He is not a solution to anything.

  2. Keep Colombo FFS, why are even looking at these shitty alternatives, Broja has been injured for a year and prior to that only scored 6 goals for Southampton!!??
And as for the other guy Azmoun, I mean WTF, absolute bullseye, 4 goals in 33, and we want him, are they fxcking blind

  3. So we want someone who has been injured for a year and prior to that scored 6 goals for Southampton, to come and get a years experience and then go back and be a Chelsea player, why…..
    Just keep Colombo FFS
And as for Azmoun…….got to be a joke, surely

    1. It is like panicked buying. Since veliz is already with someone else. They can’t think further ahead upon signing striker. There is a chance he will be another origi, but it’s unlikely since he’s younger

      1. Panicked buying is when a team signs someone. Not an article linking us to said player. This was just a rumor and not a good one.

  4. Azmoun was linked to us by a not reliable source and people are claiming we are panic signing? We didn’t sign him. Nor did we sign Broja, who I don’t think we are that interested in anyways.

And we still have what? Two weeks left? Calm down.

  5. I like Amzoun, he’s a great player.. But not a goalscoarer, not a poacher, he’s similar to Okafor, has very good technical skills, can dribble, can assist, can return the ball in on-two, but he needs a real no 9 to perform.
As for Broja, this is beyond my understanding, I don’t really get why is this guy a major target for anyone, he simply don’t have the quality to be a great prospect..

  6. You guys have no idea how football works. You simply comment as simple football fan. Broja, just for information, is that kind of player that many clubs wish to have, according to the comments of best coaches in Premier league and outside. But as i said, a simple football fan cannot understand this. You need to understand football technically to understand why Broja is so important.
