Longo: CSKA Moscow want €10m to loan star playmaker to Milan – the situation

After several weeks of rumours with no outcome, AC Milan remain interested in CSKA Moscow star Nikola Vlasic for the playmaker role. The demands of the Russian side are still holding the Rossoneri back, though.

As reported by Daniele Longo earlier today, there has been no progress in the negotiations as CSKA Moscow want to monetise Vlasic’s exit as much as possible. They are open to the loan formula, but only on one condition.

They are asking for €10m to send the Croatian out on loan and an additional €20m for the buy-out clause, taking the total up to €30m. It’s a similar operation to the one that brought Sandro Tonali to Milan, with a very expensive paid loan.

The Rossoneri haven’t given up on the player just yet but it’s a very complicated operation, unless CSKA decide to change their stance. Vlasic, meanwhile, seems very keen on the move to Milan.

  1. If we plan to stick with 4231 (we will because Pioli is a limited coach even though it doesn’t fit us best) then we need this signing. Try to negotiate 8m loan with 25m buy + bonuses and do it.

    1. Limited coach who brought us Champions League football after 8 years of failing with a host of other coaches, playing beautiful football along the way.

    2. Yeah man I think the 4-2-3-1 fits the squad pretty good. I think that’s 30mil is an over pay. I’d rather sign Illicic for cheep than over pay. If Illicic flops then Milan have financial flexibility if Vladic flops then no flexibility at all.

  2. @Nelli,Vlasic is a player that worth 30M but Milan should negotiate it at 25M,he’s gonna appreciate in few year and establish himself in Italy so soon we lack players that can make things happen that can connect from LW to RW I don’t think we need to waste time anymore to complete this deal.
