Longo: Krunic ready to sign three-year renewal with Milan – the new salary

Rade Krunic is expected to sign a contract renewal with AC Milan before the end of the year, having been linked with a move this past summer. Per a report, his salary will more than double.

Krunic has been an important player for AC Milan at the story of this season, being the only real No.6 in the squad. He missed the last four games due to an injury, but should be back in action against Juventus after the break.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan and Krunic are expected to enter the final stages of the renewal negotiations towards the end of the year. The Bosnian’s new salary should be €2.5m per year, as opposed to the current €1.1m, and he will sign for another three years.

As said, Krunic is expected to be back against Juventus and could even play from the first minute. Yacine Adli has done well in the No.6 role in the 30-year-old’s absence and the ability to alternate between the two will be key moving forward.
