Francesco Camarda could return to AC Milan earlier than expected, but Lecce will have to be convinced tomorrow, according to a report.
Camarda left Milan to join Lecce on a season-long loan in the summer. A buy-out clause was added to the deal, as well as a buy-back, effectively working as a development fee in favour of the Via del Mare side. This is something we explained in detail in a bonus article at the time.

However, due to a shoulder injury that could be more serious than first expected, Milan are evaluating the idea of bringing Camarda back earlier. They would like to keep a close eye on the recovery, especially if it’s more serious, and bringing him back would be the best way to do that.
Lecce not convinced, yet
According to Daniele Longo, Lecce are aware of Milan’s idea and the clubs will discuss the matter tomorrow, before or after the clash between the two sides at San Siro. Only after that meeting will the Rossoneri know how to proceed.
As things stand, Lecce aren’t convinced about cutting the loan short as they would miss out on their development fee. It’s possible that the clubs could come to some sort of agreement on that front, perhaps lowering the €1m compensation (€2.5m for the buy-out, €3.5m for the buy-back).
What’s clear is that Camarda will miss out on the game tomorrow due to the injury, and it remains to be seen how long the recovery time will be.
I feel that this would only make sense in a 343 to bring him back. Otherwise there might be too much competition. Yet still I don’t think anyone here thinks Nkuku is any good. And it’s not like Fulkrug is a world beater either. Even playing with a bunch of bums the kid still stands out. Especially his ability to create for his team. I don’t believe he’s completely a downgrade from the those two
From the report, it doesn’t seem they are considering bringing him back to give more options to our current sqaud. Rather it’s mainly for medical reasons to follow up well his recovery. Milan really seem keen to protect their future players. I only hope Camarda doesn’t become another failed project.
I dont understand why Milan spend money and time on buying mediocre players. They might as well just give a chance to academy product like Camarda , Liberali and Torriani.
Plus, players like Fofana, Saelemaekers, Estupinan Nkunku and Gimenez should all be replaced by Academy players.
