Gerry Cardinale and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are currently having lunch together in Milan, presumably talking about the future of the AC Milan project.
In recent days, with reports suggesting that Massimiliano Allegri could actually remain as the head coach of Milan, attention has turned to Ibrahimovic. The two are supposedly not on the best of terms and as such, the Swede has been linked with an exit.

It’s been about two and a half years since Ibrahimovic returned to the club as a consultant for RedBird. In that time, however, there has been quite a lot of confusion regarding his role and what his actual powers/responsbilitites are. And perhaps there has been a little bit too much of that.
Lunch in Milan: topic unknown
According to an exclusive report from Daniele Longo, Cardinale and Ibrahimovic are currently having lunch at a well-known hotel in Milan. The Rossoneri owner is in the city for tonight’s game against Cagliari, which will decide the Champions League race.
Update: Longo has provided more details on the meeting, stating that Calvelli and Ibrahimovic are both essential to RedBird Italy, while Furlani’s absence speaks volumes.
Longo didn’t say anything more about the reason for the meeting, but judging by recent reports, it’s probably not to discuss the weather. The next week should tell us a lot about the corporate future of the club, especially since the top-four race will have been decided by then.
