Yacine Adli has been heavily linked with a departure this summer and with just a few days left of the mercato, things are heating up. According to a report, Marseille could make a late but for the AC Milan midfielder.
Due to the squad rules, Milan will not be able to register Adli in the squad this season and as a result, they are now working on a sale. Given the player’s willingness to stay at the club, the situation has been far from easy this summer but by the sounds of it, a move could soon materialise.
According to Daniele Longo, Marseille have expressed an interest in Adli and their director Mehdi Benatia has an ‘excellent relationship’ with the midfielder. The latter is not the first choice of the French side, though, but a loan with option to buy bid could be sent.
Even though Milan would like a permanent transfer, especially given the interest in Qatar and England, they might be forced to accept an initial loan deal. A season without playing time for Adli would only damage his value and that would be far from ideal.
It remains to be seen if the Rossoneri will make one more signing for the midfield, but that would require Ismael Bennacer to leave as well.
Always loan with option. Yet when we sign bloody Emerson Royal it’s an upfront permanent transfer. If only he was on loan we could have sent him back next summer.

I think it’s a best place for Adli, seeing Marseille transfer window. They might win Ligue 1 this year and De zerbi is coach.
I am pained when I read that of all the midfield in Milan, it Banecer that they want to offload when in my view he is s the creative. Why not RLC that has only size without football brain.
I think Milan coach and management lacks technical in-depth. You want to sell Benecha who’s better than musah, RLC. We don’t have in-depth at all.
