Longo: Milan handed transfer blow as Chelsea man will leave ‘in the coming days’

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan’s intention was always to add another midfielder to the team but Franck Kessie’s injury has made this even more apparent. However, they are set to miss out on one of their targets, a report claims.

According to Daniele Longo, Lyon and Rennes are both very keen on Tiemoue Bakayoko, who has been linked quite a lot with Milan this summer. It’s a double blow for the Rossoneri, with the Chelsea man now set to leave ‘in the coming days’.

The feeling is, however, that Bakayoko was never a primary target for the Rossoneri but more so a plan B. The Frenchman played with them in the 2018/19 season and did well in a 4-2-3-1, which would have made him a good option now as well.

Milan have seemingly set their sights on Yacine Adli of Bordeaux instead, as he’s not only younger but can play in a few different roles. But we should know more about this in the coming days.

    1. Stop that sticky statement… What has he done to you that would make hate him… Is he not a man like you?

      1. Insulting Rhino and being undisciplined while he was in the team, also no one else want him, there should be a reason for that.

btw yes “hate” might be too strong of a word lol, more like “strongly dislike”
