According to Daniele Longo, Lyon and Rennes are both very keen on Tiemoue Bakayoko, who has been linked quite a lot with Milan this summer. It’s a double blow for the Rossoneri, with the Chelsea man now set to leave ‘in the coming days’.
🚨 Doppia insidia 🇫🇷per il #Milan: #Rennes e #Lione si muovono per Timouè #Bakayoko. Il centrocampista lascerà il #Chelsea nei prossimi giorni

The feeling is, however, that Bakayoko was never a primary target for the Rossoneri but more so a plan B. The Frenchman played with them in the 2018/19 season and did well in a 4-2-3-1, which would have made him a good option now as well.
Milan have seemingly set their sights on Yacine Adli of Bordeaux instead, as he’s not only younger but can play in a few different roles. But we should know more about this in the coming days.
