Longo: Milan hold new talks with Brest winger over January move – all the details

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are ready to make a new attempt for Romain Faivre in January as the right-wing needs reinforcement. The Rossoneri tried to sign the winger this summer but Brest rejected their offers.

According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Faivre has remained at the top of Milan’s wish list as his characteristics are deemed perfect for Stefano Pioli’s system. And as a result of this, a new assault is being planned.

In recent days, Milan director Ricky Massara held talks with the player’s agent and there is already a general agreement on a four-year contract. Brest, who rejected €12m plus €3m in bonuses, want to wait until the summer before selling their star,

However, the Rossoneri intend to use the wish of the player (which is to move) and make a deal happen already in January. There is optimism that an agreement can be reached then and it could indeed be a great reinforcement for Pioli.
