Manchester City have made it clear that they want to sign Tijjani Reijnders before the Club World Cup, but according to a report, AC Milan will not budge on the €75m price tag.
Following a very successful season, named the best midfielder in Serie A, it’s no surprise that several big clubs are keeping tabs on Reijnders. Manchester City are doing a little bit more than that, though, having initiated contacts with Milan as well as the player over a move.
According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, there is ‘harmony’ between the two clubs in the negotiations as intermediaries are working to close the deal. That being said, Milan have made it clear that they ‘will not budge’ on the €75m price tag.
The English side first offered €55m plus an additional €5m in bonuses, but having understood that the Rossoneri are serious with their request, they intend to pay the €75m price tag. The only question to solve is how much of that will be made up of bonuses.

As for the player, he’s certainly not forcing a sale as he’s currently on holiday with his family, while he’s also very happy at Milan. That being said, a contract worth €7m per season has been put on the table for him, which is about double what he currently makes.
It remains to be seen if the Rossoneri will accept the next offer of the English side. It’s clear that it will upset quite a lot of the fans, even if it ends up being close to €75m, and the sporting director Igli Tare will face a difficult task in trying to replace the Dutchman.

Use man city to get as much money as possible
If 70m is the case than Milan would sort their midfield issues by buying Ryan cherki of Lyon who has a release clause of 25m and ricci 30 to 35m….though cherki is man city bound….he fits redbird parameter perfectly an attacking midfielder and defensive midfielder pairing it with fofana….
Cherki is not going to the team that finished 8th in Serie A, he’ll go somewhere with UCL football unless he is focused on only money bringing other English teams or Arabian teams into play. None of those are us.
Yeah he thought this is CM2026, it’s not easy to find replacement. If they can outsmart Man Shitty they should request Rodri as complimentary and maybe 70 million as agreement fee. That should fix the problem rn.
You thought this is CM2026?, it’s not easy to find replacement. If they can outsmart Man Sittty they should request Rodri as complimentary and maybe 70 million as agreement fee. That should fix the problem rn…
Release clauses are not allowed in the French league. That’s a myth.
I just finished watching Rogue One after Andor season 2, and it fits to say it:
May the force be with us
60 m + James McAtee is a better deal. I would force this deal…
Seriously Man City has pleanty of good players, they should include someone in the transfer.
75 millions guarantee + at least 5 million bonus. 80 millions.
Why other teams get 100m for such a player as Reinjdeers but Milan never get near that sum. Tonali was a steal for Newcastle, they even themselves claim it was a bargain. These are English teams with loads of money we should easily get 100m from them its like 20-30m for a serie a team. The Premier league tv rights money alone is triple that of Serie A then take into account that they also play in CL, just milk them!
