Longo: Milan, PSG and Mendes locked in complicated Renato Sanches situation

AC Milan have an agreement with Lille over Renato Sanches but have not found one with his agent Jorge Mendes, according to one journalist.

According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Lille have accepted the only offer they have on the table at the moment for the Portuguese midfielder which came from Milan one month ago and is worth €10m plus bonuses.

Jorge Mendes is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain but the Ligue 1 champions have not yet submitted a formal offer to Lille despite rumours suggesting otherwise. Despite this, the agent wants to exploit their interest to change the previous agreement over terms with Milan.

The Rossoneri seemed to find a verbal agreement over a four-year deal at €3.2m net per season plus bonuses but with PSG in the running the new request is around €4.5m plus high bonuses. The feeling is that Mendes is pushing for PSG because he can get higher commissions from them.

Milan are waiting on their own terms, as always, and they have not given up. They remain convinced that the deal can be closed, then it will be totally up to the player to make a final decision.
