Longo: Romagnoli not satisfied with Milan’s renewal offer – Lazio option emerges

Alessio Romagnoli is, just like Franck Kessie, an important player that could leave AC Milan for free at the end of the season. Renewal talks have been ongoing for quite some time but there is no agreement.

The captain has played quite a lot for the Rossoneri this season, able to show his qualities due to the tight schedule and the injury of Simon Kjaer. He remains an important player for the Rossoneri but his future is still an issue.

According to Daniele Longo, Romagnoli has never lacked professionalism or attachment to the Milan shirt. Having said that, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have put €2.8m plus bonuses on the table, which is a significant decrease from the current €5.5m.

The centre-back isn’t satisfied with that offer and once again, Lazio have emerged as an option on a free transfer. The No.13 is a boyhood Biancocelesti fan and it’s likely that he could accept around €3m per year to join them.
