Longo: Terracciano loan put on hold as Milan need him in Zagreb – the latest

Filippo Terracciano could remain at AC Milan for a little longer than expected, as highlighted by a report. Despite multiple clubs wanting him on loan, the Rossoneri need to keep him until at least next Thursday.

Terracciano has played a decent amount this season, not just covering the full-back role but also the midfield tandem. At the age of 21, however, it’s clear that he needs consistent playing time and 617 minutes halfway into a season isn’t good enough.

As reported by Daniele Longo, Milan’s idea was to loan him out this window with the likes of Empoli and Monza expressing an interest. However, due to Emerson Royal’s injury and Davide Calabria’s suspension, he will be needed against Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday next week.

It’s a crucial game for Milan as a win is needed to clinch a top-8 finish, which would send them straight to the knockout phase of the Champions League. As such, any loan move has been put on hold for Terracciano and it remains to be seen if things will change in the final days.

The mercato is open for a few more days after the game, so there is every possibility for him to leave afterwards. hopefully, he will put in a good performance and not get too distracted by the rumours.

  1. Someone who can cover multiple roles while we’re lacking the backups for LB & midfield and possibly in the CB-section as well if Pavlovic is sold. I don’t get it.

    1. I wonder what’s wrong with this management aside covering for back up, he stands as a squad depth for Uefa and Seria A squad quota… Which the management knows we don’t have a good number of Italian players in the squad….. Calabria will soon be laid off by the management since his extension was not negotiated.

    2. @bb I don’t think you understand. When you apply logic you now have to reverse it and that’s how you figure out what management is thinking 😂😂😂

  2. Why the hell he didn’t start instead of Emerson Royale against Girona … cost us the transfer fee to offload that Brazilian calamity

Some strange decisions from management, agreed we should keep him as a backup utility player

  3. the madness is spreading! strange decisions, crazy ones.
Players injured and they want to loan out a player we could use to cover multiple roles. No DM yet and they are selling off the ones who even steady the ship a little.
    these guys are geniuses!

  4. Oka transfer canceled cz of injury, then now Royal too.. Origi + BaTor also canceled cz fitnes issue.. wtf is going on w/ our SD? they’ve got fvcx-up by other mediocer clubs SD, shame..

  6. Loaning Terracciano doesn’t open up an open list spot. He’s getting game time and is needed to cover multiple positions.

He should see out the season and then evaluate the best option.
