Longoni: Milan continue to dream of Chelsea man but Vlasic attempt is scheduled

By Isak Möller -

Milan are looking for a playmaker on the market and with just two weeks left of the transfer window, time is running out. Hakim Ziyech remains the dream but a more realistic option is Nikola Vlasic.

As reported by Andrea Longoni in his latest piece for MilanNews, the dream has always been Ziyech. However, the Moroccan has impressed with Chelsea during pre-season and the operation is now even more difficult.

The Rossoneri will make a new attempt for Vlasic, who wants to leave CSKA Moscow this summer and dreams of a move to Milan. His arrival would perhaps allow Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to add a right-winger with a high salary.

Josip Ilicic is always in the background despite the recent rumours that have filtered from Bergamo. The coming days, in other words, will be decisive to understand the Rossoneri’s next few moves for the attacking trio.

  1. Vlasic is more realistic choice than Ziyech. But, Milan have to add another right winger. This is the reason why Milan want Ziyech. Ziyech can play both as playmaker or right winger, means that no need to buy 2 players for those position. It will be significant efficiency if Milan can get him on loan with option to buy or with obligation to buy.

    1. Vlasic can play as right winger too. I’d love Ziyech but I think it’s impossible. Vlasic and Ilicic together will be possible though. Vlasic with an onerous loan and Ilicic for a few millions.

Of course we need to sell Castillejo first.
