Sky: Lukaku trains partially with Inter group in bid to regain fitness for Milan clash

By Euan Burns -

Inter striker Romelu Lukaku partially trained with the rest of the Nerazzurri squad on Monday as he works to get fit for the match against AC Milan in the Supercoppa Italiana final, a report claims.

As has been reported by Sky Sport Italia (via Milan News), the Belgian striker does still have a chance of being passed fit to face the Rossoneri in the final on Wednesday night.

He has missed a handful of recent games with a fresh injury and the fact that he could do part of the session with his teammates suggests that he will be able to make the bench.

The two players that did not train at all with the group were Samir Handanovic and Marcelo Brozovic. Inter seem resigned to the idea that they will not take any part in the match that kicks off at 20:00 CET.

Lukaku still did some individual work so it will be interesting to see how he looks on Tuesday.
