Photos: ‘A short break to fix the mechanics’ – Maignan addresses injury social media

This weekend, Mike Maignan had to be substituted due to an injury, something that was less than ideal. However, he remains upbeat.

Maignan is the latest to make a post after the win against Bologna this weekend. However, his post, as expected, featured a little bit more information, considering he left the pitch injured.

Maignan’s words

Fears were initially rather high, considering the record of the Milan shot-stopper. However, we learned that it is not muscle injuries, so the timeline of recovery should be quite short. Nevertheless, the Frenchman suggests he will still spend time sidelined on his Instagram.

“An important win for the team +3 +1Cleansheet 👊🏾 A short stop to fix the mechanics and then we’re off again. This is the destiny that God has reserved for me 👉🏾 Always stay positive!!! Giving it all without counting 🥵

  1. Well if he wants to use an allegory of himself being a car then I guess he is an old Jaguar. Great car, great design but well known to break down on a regular basis 🙁

  2. Maignan was 3rd in most minutes played last season among European clubs. Valverde from Real and Fernandes of United came 1st and 2nd.

Pretty good for someone everyone wants to sell due to his unavailability and constant injuries.

    1. I never said we should sell him but I gotta admit I’m a bit surprised that he played that many minutes even though he wasn’t as injury stricken as the previous ones.

    2. I had listed the minutes for goalies for teams in Serie A last year. Mike along with Roma’s goalie hog the vast majority minutes. Moreso than any other team’s. Most teams second goalie have 500+ minutes while ours barely have a sniff. Not saying this is root cause or anything but just wanted to add.
