Le Parisien: Maignan out 2-3 weeks with calf injury – the games he will miss

If the latest reports from France are correct, AC Milan will be without goalkeeper Mike Maignan for at least three crucial games coming up.

After the calf injury sustained in yesterday’s match against Austria, which forced him to come off at half-time, Maignan this morning underwent his exams at the Neuilly hospital with Dr. Franck Le Gall.

According to Le Parisien, the Milan goalkeeper should be out for two or three weeks, meaning he would return to Pioli’s disposal either for the return game against Chelsea at San Siro in the Champions League or for the league game against Hellas Verona.

That means that he would miss some big matches though, starting with the first game back after the break away from home against Empoli, but also including the UCL game at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea and also the Serie A game against rivals Juventus that comes after.
