Some more footage has come out from AC Milan’s game against Roma on Sunday night, revealing tension between the officials and players before a ball was kicked.
In case you have missed the fall-out after the Roma game, a video compilation went viral showing the referee Andrea Colombo doing several questionable things during incidents involving Milan players.

The official seemed to physically stop Adrien Rabiot from apologising to Mile Svilar after a collision inside the box, he booked Luka Modric despite it being the Croatian who had been slammed into, and he got so close to Mike Maignan before the penalty that they stepped on each other.
Now, DAZN have revealed a clip showing an exchange between Maignan and Colombo before a ball had even been kicked. The Roma players were lined up in the tunnel and as Milan followed them out of the dressing room, the following can be heard.
🗣 Colombo: “Maignan, we’re waiting for you, we’re late come on.”
🗣 Maignan: “There’s only six players.”
🗣 Colombo: “Hurry up!”
🗣 Maignan: “Calm down! Oh!”

Admittedly, Milan have already been fined many times this season for being late out of the dressing room, so timekeeping from the referee is not an issue. However, the tones used by both sides seemed to contribute to further tension on the field.

You could hear Colombo on the television feed, yelling at Maignan. Based upon his subsequent actions on the field, Colombo let his emotions affect his demeanor. Not a good optic for him or the association.
I had seen this moment in our pre game coverage here in Australia. Am surprised that it has taken so long to make the news after the tension with the official during the game.
Maybe I’m an island here but why would you want to annoy your match official right before the game?
You are inviting a bad vibe from the officials.

What choice do you give the officials when you do it again but to yell at you?
Being continually late onto the field is disrespectful to the other club, the officials. Even the little kids waiting to go onto the field.
It can’t be an accident that it has happened so many times. Allegri is using this as a tactic. But I can’t see how it helps making everyone frustrated with you.

I had watch it during the game and I didn’t see a big deal except that the Milan team didn’t seem to care that they were late.
