Mike Maignan could leave AC Milan this summer because he is disappointed that Massimiliano Allegri and Igli Tare left.
Sources such as La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Maignan’s future at Milan is uncertain following the failure to secure Champions League football, with a number of top clubs evaluating a potential swoop.

Monica Colombo’s latest for Corriere della Sera (via Radio Rossonera) mentions that Maignan’s future is just the latest difficult case that will arrive on the table of the new Milan management, whenever they take office.
The journalist writes: “The French goalkeeper in the final days of the season had confided to Igli Tare that he had signed the contract renewal only because he considered him, together with Allegri, the guarantor of the project. Now he’s ready to look around.”
Maignan, though focused on the World Cup, is at a crucial stage in his career: at 30, he can still aspire to win the biggest honours, perhaps at a more stable and competitive club than what the Rossoneri are proving to be at the moment.
Maignan’s name had been insistently linked to Juventus before the season began. Despite a significant financial offer from the Bianconeri, the French goalkeeper chose to remain loyal to Milan, rejecting the Old Lady’s advances in favour of the Allegri-Tare partnership, who eventually persuaded him to renew.

If Mike decides to leave, it’s for his own good, he’s among the top 5 goalkeepers in the world and deserves a strong team that competes for every trophy. Tiji, Thiaw, Theo, and now quite possibly Rafa have all left for the same reason: a lack of direction. This club is riddled with problems; they just want to buy cheap and sell for as much as possible. We’ve become Dortmund 2.0.
He have contract and will not go for free and that is only important. Soon or late all will go,enclude owners too, but Milan will stay forever.
