AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is eagerly awaiting the return of two of his most important squad members in Mike Maignan and Alessandro Florenzi.
According to a report from Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan), the return of Florenzi – who has been absent since the end of August – is getting close as he worked with the rest of the squad at Milanello yesterday.
The right-back did the entire training session with his team-mates including the practice match against Milan’s U18 side, suggesting he has a good chance of getting called up for the game against Monza.
Mike Maignan meanwhile is raising his workloads a little every day. Next week will be an important one for the French goalkeeper, as he could return for Milan’s game against Atalanta on Sunday 26 February.
Nothing will be rushed of course, but with each day the former Lille man is regaining more and more strength in his calf.
