In AC Milan’s 3-1 victory against Monza, Daniel Maldini scored the visitors’ only goal of the evening, and following the game, he spoke about the goal’s importance and playing at San Siro again.
It is fair to say that Maldini had an up-and-down season in the 2023/24 campaign. His first half of the season was poor due to injury, which harmed his playing time, but then when he moved to Monza in January, he showed spells of brilliance, causing the club to purchase him this summer.

When he returned from the loan, a departure was expected with Milan aiming to bolster their summer budget as much as possible, and Maldini leaving aided that, but given the Rossoneri have a 50% sell-on clause in the deal, they will continue to watch his future with interest.
