Mediaset: Maldini and Cardinale discuss Bremer deal as Botman pursuit becomes complex

AC Milan are finding things more difficult than they imagined in their pursuit of Sven Botman so they could turn to an alternative target, a report claims.

According to what Claudio Raimondi told SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan will sign a centre-back during the summer mercato and the name of Sven Botman has become more difficult to sign, because Newcastle United have offered more.

For this reason the Rossoneri are ready to go back in for Gleison Bremer of Torino and a market derby is expected given that Inter have been targeting him for some time. Paolo Maldini could offer up some counterparts appreciated by the Granata to try and gain an advantage.

Tommaso Pobega – who spent last season on loan at Torino – could be used but what is now apparent is that Bremer is a concrete target, so much so that yesterday Maldini and the new owner Gerry Cardinale also talked about the Brazilian.
