AC Milan director Paolo Maldini is planning to speak with agent Jorge Mendes and discuss four potential targets ahead of the summer window, a report claims.
According to a report from Calciomercato.com, Maldini and Massara are expecting to talk with Mendes and one of the points of discussion will obviously be the renewal of Rafael Leao, who Milan want to close a deal for before the end of the season otherwise they will be forced to sell.
Then, Milan are ready to listen to any opportunities offered by the CEO of Gestifute such as Marco Asensio, who remains a possibility on a free transfer even if there is competition from Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Mendes would like to send his client Adama Traore – a right winger whose contract with Wolves is expiring – to Serie A. Napoli like him, but he will also be offered to Milan who are on the lookout for potential attacking reinforcements.
Another profile held in high esteem by Maldini is Alejandro Balde of Barcelona but it seems the chances of him arriving are very slim if not impossible.
Finally, a surprise new name could be that of Manuel Ugarte, a powerful Uruguayan midfielder who is impressing with Sporting CP and could provide reinforcement to a department that has struggled without Franck Kessie.
