Maldini provides update on Andre Silva, Correa and sales

By Isak Möller -

Paolo Maldini, speaking on the sidelines of the press conference for Bennacer, Duarte and Leao, provided an update on the Rossoneri’s market as the transfer window is coming to an end.

“There are two full-backs that are about to leave. There is no news on the Correa front. For Silva, on the other hand, it is all at a standstill. The transfer window is still open but there are only two weeks left, the sales are the priority,” he stated.

Milan have been in negotiations with Atletico Madrid for Angel Correa for weeks, but there is no agreement in sight. Unless Maldini decides to raise his offer, the Argentine striker will remain in Spain.

The two full-backs that the director is referring to are most likely Diego Laxalt and Ivan Strinic, as they are third and fourth respectively in the pecking order for the left-back position.
