CM: Maldini working on four summer signings to give Pioli a champion squad

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to give Stefano Pioli the most competitive squad possible ahead of next season and they have some signings already in mind, a report claims.

Milan are fighting for the Scudetto and of course tomorrow’s match against Napoli has the full concentration of Pioli and his squad, but Calciomercato.com report that Milan are not short-sighted in view of its future and are already planning a big summer transfer market that will serve to shore up a squad to be completed in all its departments.

A centre-back will be signed and the main name at the moment is Sven Botman of Lille, but if Romagnoli leaves on a free transfer he will not be the only one to arrive. In midfield, Yacine Adli and Tommaso Pobega will return from loans but the Rossoneri want Renato Sanches from Lille too.

Maldini is also looking for a right winger who could be at Leao’s level, and it is on that position Milan will have to invest an important budget which, consequently, will limit the money available to sign a new striker. That is why Belotti remains the most viable idea on a free transfer, making it four signings to hopefully build a title-winning team.
