AC Milan and Inter have been joined by Manchester United in the race for Schalke defender Ozan Kabak, according to a report.
A number of reports have claimed that Liverpool and Milan are both interested in the 20-year-old, who would cost €30-40m, with the Premier League side looking for a defender given Virgil van Dijk will be out for the best part of a year after sustaining ligament damage.
Meanwhile, reports in Spain have gone one further by claiming Liverpool and Schalke are in ‘well advanced’ talks and the deal could be closed at a figure close to €22m.
According to Calciomercato.com, there is not only Milan and Liverpool who are chasing Kabak as the duo’s two biggest rivals in Inter and Manchester United are also in the running to land him.
Meanwhile, Sport1 are reporting that Schalke will need €35m or more to consider parting with a player they consider an ‘exceptional talent’.
