It seems Manchester United could look to flog an outcast to AC Milan this summer, with Ruben Amorim’s arrival.
Massimiliano Allegri was keen to sign players with whom he had previously worked, and it could be a similar situation for Amorim. Indeed, he is not afraid to make moves for players whom he has worked with before and at Milan, it could repeat.

Ugarte to Milan?
Indeed, when Manuel Ugarte was made available, the Red Devils pounced on the opportunity and signed the midfielder for a heavy fee, believed to be more than €50 million. However, he has not just found a new home in Manchester after the pair had worked together in Portugal.
So much so that he could leave for less than half of what the club paid for him. Though there has been little interest so far, it would seem.
This is where Amorim’s move to Milano could be handy. Indeed, Nicolo Schira reported on his X account that the Uruguayan midfielder has already been offered to the Rossoneri. There are no talks to make it happen; right now, it is just an offer.
If Amorim wants to look at the midfielder, though, the option would be on the table. As of right now, though, it is nothing more than that.

Pobega is better. I’d start Musah ahead of this fraud.
And the award for the most predictable link in the history of football goes to…
Rather give the youth like zeroli a chance or commotto. going to be another rabiot and leaves when the manager leaves.. nah nah.
Another Rabiot? You mean a huge contributor that could single handedly win games?
I agree about Zeroli or Commoto bt rabiot is a big player for us
Youth? That’s not what’s going to happen with Amorim. Zeroli, Comotto and Camarda to go the way of Liberali. We’ve yet to hit bottom.
I bet you never open your curtains, darkness reigns supreme
He worked with Gyökeres too and he has become a rotation player in Arsenal and everyone can see that Milan need a striker and another DM is the last position Milan should think about because right now it has Modric, Rabiot, Ricci, Jashari, Fofana and Musah.
I think with the 3-4-3 Amorim plays then you can use Saelemaekers and Musah as right midfielder and sell Tomori, Estupiñán, RLC, Fofana, Gimenez and with the money from the players out on loan it should generate almost 150 million euro to buy a left midfielder, a striker and 2 CB and use couple players from the youth team.
You expect Amorim to magically turn back the clock? That’s not usually what happens. When coaches fail in a big way, they rarely rebuild their reputations and succeed. Amorin was out of his depth an Man United and was an absolute embarassment in his press conferences. It was painful to watch them. I’ve never heard a coach talk so much garbage in my life. Unfortunately, Cardinale doesn’t know anything about football so went along with everything his master, Ibrahimovic, suggested. We can only hope for the best, but I would be very surprised if this works out.
Yes Amorim seems to prefer 3-4-3 system, mostly with 2 wingbacks and 2 central midfielders, and sometimes with a diamond shape in the middle. If doing so at Milan, they could go at the back with Gabbia, de Winter and Pavlovic (and they should definetely look for another CB, John Stones is without contract at Man. City now; sell Tomori, maybe for around 8-10M, and Bartesaghi could be eventual replacement for Pavlovic when needed, and Terraciano coming back from loan could remain at the squad)
Wing backs: Saelemaekers, Athekame; Bartesaghi, Estupiñán
Central midfielders: Ricci, Jashari, Rabiot, Modric (sell Loftus-Cheek for around 5M, and sell Fofana for 20-25M)
Attackers: Pulisic, Nkunku, Camarda (although i just read that Camarda is being bought by Lecce, there seems to be a buy back clause, it should be triggered; then if Leao still wants to leave, sell him for around 50M and sell Gimenez for 18M)
With all those sales: Leao 50, Gimenez 18, Tomori lets say 9, Fofana 23 and Loftus 5, you get then 105M, but, considering amortizations, those 105 M end up being like 57M net of income, and that along with what will be received in Europa League could compensate missing on Champions League money.
Then Milan could also sell Chukwueze 15M and Musah for 10M, and if Rabiot requests to leave, then he could be sold for 12-15M.
So lets say Rabiot leaves, and Modric does not return, then you are looking at needing at least 1 CB, and like i wrote before John Stones would be an option without having to pay transfer fee. In the middle if you end up only being left with Jashari and Ricci, then either Bondo or Zeroli could remain, and also Silvano Vos, and then, why not try to get Reijnders back? specially now that is being said that M. City will try to get Elliot Anderson, so maybe a loan + option to buy for Reijnders to return??
And in attack, if you end up with Pulisic, Nkunku and Camarda, then, i had thought of bringing Brahim Diaz back, but it seems a renewal is ready for him to sigh until 2030 with R. Madrid, so other options could be a loan for Mastantuono from R. Madrid; Baldanzi from Roma; Yann Gboho from Toulouse; or bring back Jens Petter Hauge. And maybe give the chance to Alphadjo Cissè returning from loan, or Traore from Milan Futuro. And for center forward, maybe go for Retegui, if not, then maybe Tresoldi from Brugge.
So squad could be:
GK: Maignan, P. Terraciano, Torriani
CB: Gabbia, de Winter, Pavlovic, a new CB, (Odogu should be sent on loan) and maybe leave Filippo Terracciano.
Wingbacks: Bartesaghi, Estupiñán ; Saelemaekers, Athekame
CM: Jashari, Ricci, and would be great if Modric and Rabiot remain, but if not, then try to make it for a return for Reijnders (loan + buy option), and leave either Bondo or Zeroli or Silvano Vos (maybe leave 2 of the 3 of them at the squad)
Forwards: Pulisic, Nkunku, Camarda, and go buy a new CF and also a back up to Pulisic/ Nkunku, and leave one of Cissé or Traoré at the team (and loan the other player)
If they will sell for 20mil then ok.
