  1. Stupid Milan city council rejecting that amazing cathedral design. Now they will have to maintain a crumbling 80k stadium on their own when the two football clubs move out. Good luck doing that with concert revenue. They’re going to have to hold A LOT of concerts. Oh well, on the bright side we won’t have to share a stadium with Merda anymore.

    1. I haven’t seen any news on Inter’s new stadium. I thought given their financial turmoil, new San Siro shared project, was their only way to get a new stadium. Even Zhang, wasn’t happy, about us abandoning the shared stadium project.

    2. I don’t think it can survive being used as concert venue for long. The stadium is deteriorating, even some part of 3rd tier had been closed due to vibration issue. How many seats is available for Milan match? Is it 71k or 73k? That’s 7000-9000 seats no longer usable. Soon it will only be a monument like Coloseum.

Milan new stadium will also compete against it as concert venue. The new stadium had advantages, it will be closer to airport, more modern, with similar 70k capacity.

  2. I wonder what will they call this new stadium. We need a name that reflect our long history, achievements, legends, and the most important : Modern & forward thinking.

“The Catedral” sounds like a blasphemy to Milan City’s landmark (Duomo di Milano), though.

I like that “Allegiant Stadium” name, we need something like that but more Milanese taste.

  3. Have a look at the Manica Website.

They have a portfolio that is seriously extensive. There is an artist impression of the Milan Stadium. Looks good, but I hope they do something better. And that the capacity can easily be increased in the future.
