Barcelona could set their sights upon Hakan Calhanoglu as a presidential candidate has included him on his list of targets, a report claims.
According to Marca, Barcelona’s presidential elections are drawing ever nearer despite the delays, and Victor Font has a list of transfer targets for if he gets voted in.
All the candidates have been asked to put forward plans for the initial period after they take office, and the bulk of Font’s list includes players who will be free agents by the time he is in charge.
Calhanoglu is one of the players on his list as the Turkey international is on a contract which will expire in six months. Along with him there is Manchester City duo Eric Garcia and Sergio Aguero, Memphis Depay of Lyon, David Alaba of Bayern Munich, Gini Wijnaldum of Liverpool, Juan Bernat of PSG and Rui Silva of Granada.
