Marca: Milan could take part in pre-season tour with Barcelona, Juventus and Real Madrid

With just eight games remaining of the Serie A season, AC Milan are making plans for the summer and not just for the mercato, but also pre-season friendlies. By the looks of it, they have received an invite.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been a lack of pre-season tours overseas and with restrictions being lifted, the clubs intend to get that going again. For Milan, that could mean a trip to the United States this summer.

According to Marca, Milan have received an invite to take part in a pre-season tournament in the states with Barcelona, Juventus and Real Madrid. These three clubs were the ones that remained in the European Super League, now looking to make a pre-season of their own as well.

Relevent Sports, the company that used to organise the International Champions Cup, are on UEFA’s side and that’s part of why the ESL clubs are looking to organise something themselves. Milan have been invited, per the report, and it might be a good opportunity for them.
