GdS: Striker eager to fly to Italy with Milan expected to close €3m operation in next 48 hours

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Red Star are expected to fully complete the deal for Marko Lazetic today with the striker awaiting the green light to travel to Italy, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), either Milan will close the arrival of Lazetic today or at the latest tomorrow, and the 18-year-old centre-forward is eager to get on a flight over to Milano and begin his new adventure.

An agreement between the clubs has now been found on the basis of a €3m transfer fee and only the last details need to be sorted out before giving approval to the player to leave for Milan for the standard medical examinations.

Given his lack of first team experience not much is known about Lazetic, but he is certainly very well thought of within Serbia as an ex-international claimed yesterday that he is very much capable of replicating the path of Dusan Vlahovic.

  1. Man city is about to complete the signing of Alvarez. Milan: how the mighty have fallen!
    You can’t sign Romain Faivre.
Diaz was supposed to be the back up plan this season but somehow he is the plan.

    1. Alvarez, you want another youngster on high wages you cannot resign or resell (since only 4,5 teams can afford super high wages anyway)

      Donnarumma was the lesson.
More and more players go for free. Even Chelsea and Bayern have this problem

    2. All we need is to be bought by a petrostate and then get one of the new owners to sit on the UEFA excom (looking at you PSG).

  2. Great talent, since there is no money Milan need to snatch and be right on a few talents to go back to being the top of world football.
