Massara insists Milan are happy with squad but adds: “We’ll see if there are opportunities”

AC Milan sporting director Ricky Massara has insisted that he believes the squad is complete, but there could be ‘opportunities’ to exploit.

The Rossoneri have been one of the more active teams so far in the January window as Soualiho Meite has arrived from Torino, Mario Mandzukic joined to reinforce the attack and Fikayo Tomori became the latest recruit on Friday, arriving on a loan with option to buy deal.

Despite this, there has been lots of speculation that the market might not be done yet and that the management are still in the market for a deputy to Theo Hernandez.

Massara was interviewed by Rai Sport before Milan’s Coppa Italia quarter-final against Inter, with his comments transcribed by MilanNews and translated below.

When asked about the transfer market, he responded: “We believe we are fully booked, Dalot has shown that he can play very well as a left-back.

“We consider ourselves to be complete, then there are five days left for the transfer market, we’ll see if there are opportunities.”
