Mayor of Milan Beppe Sala has made a visit to La Maura to look at the site where Milan would like to build a new stadium away from Inter, a report claims.
As has been reported by Sky Sport 24 (via Milan News), the mayor wanted to go to the La Maura site to see for himself what Milan’s plans are and how they could be implemented.
The mayor and the city council as a whole would still much rather see the Rossoneri remain with Inter and build a new San Siro stadium.
That being said, they are acutely are that Milan are willing to move quite far away from the centre of Milan if they have to so that they can have their own stadium.
That is a serious concern for the local government, which is why they are slightly opening up to the idea of a stadium being built at La Maura.
