Mediaset: De Ketelaere ultimatum, Chukwuemeka, Ziyech and more – latest on Milan’s market

AC Milan are only waiting to wait a little while longer before abandoning their pursuit of Charles De Ketelaere, a report claims.

According to a report from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Milan have decided to raise their offer for De Ketelaere up to €33m including bonuses and a percentage on a future resale, which means that they are now very close to the €35m that Club Brugge are asking for.

However, they add that Milan expects a positive response from the Belgian club by tomorrow, otherwise they will abandon the De Ketelaere talks altogether and will go all-in on Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea instead.

Meanwhile, Renato Sanches is fading as an option for Milan because he is expected to sign for PSG by Wednesday on a €5m net per season deal, which is not far from double the €3m per year Milan offered. Carney Chukwuemeka – an 18-year-old Aston Villa midfielder – is an alternative and could arrive for €15m.

Japhet Tanganga is the main name for the centre-back role and he made it clear to Spurs that he wants to wear the Rossoneri shirt despite the pressure from Valencia and Everton.
