Mediaset: Dilemma for Milan as Pioli considers giving Man Utd loanee debut vs. Celtic

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has a selection dilemma to try and resolve before Thursday’s Europa League opener against Celtic, a report claims.

Milan will be looking to continue their perfect start to the 2020-21 season when they face the trip to Scotland to face Celtic on Thursday night.

The Rossoneri have gone 20 games unbeaten in all competitions since football resumed after lockdown including 16 wins, and have won seven out of seven across all competitions to begin the current campaign.

There are a number of selection issues for Pioli to battle though as Ante Rebic and Hakan Calhanoglu are both out injured as is Mateo Musacchio, while Matteo Gabbia is COVID-positive.

According to what SportMediaset reports (via MilanNews), there is another headache for Pioli to try and manage as he is still deciding whether to play Davide Calabria or Diogo Dalot on the right side of the defence.

For the Portuguese full-back it would be his debut with the Milan shirt having joined on loan from Manchester United.
