Zlatan Ibrahimovic has already made a decision regarding his future at AC Milan beyond the summer, according to a report.
SportMediaset (via MilanLive) are reporting that Ibrahimovic’s second spell at Milan will not extend into a second season, as the 38-year-old not only seems intent on ending his adventure with the Rossoneri but also quitting football altogether in order to retire.
Ibrahimovic is making this decision for several reasons. First of all due to the changes that have happened at Milan in recent weeks and are likely to continue. The sacking of Zvonimir Boban and the probably departure of Paolo Maldini have not exactly gone down well with the Swede.
Without them Ibrahimovic does not feel like staying, and there is also little chance of him playing anywhere else.
The arrival of Ralf Rangnick on the bench, a plausible hypothesis according to the media, is another clue: the German technician will focus on many young talents. Everything suggests therefore that in June, Ibra will say goodbye to Milan – at least as a player – for good.
