AC Milan will take on Roma this weekend and after beating Torino narrowly mid-week, they will be looking to continue their unbeaten run. With a win or a draw, they will set a new record in the club’s history.
The last time the Rossoneri started the season this well was back in 1954/55, which indeed says a lot. Then, they collected 28 points after the first ten games but then lost the following game (coincidentally vs. Roma), which this side now can improve.
According to Mediaset, as cited by MilanNews, the great emergency seems to be over for Milan and Stefano Pioli. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who played a few minutes against Torino, is ahead of Olivier Giroud for the starting spot up front.
Furthermore, the likes of Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz will be back from start and this is a huge boost for the Rossoneri. They have no excuses, that’s for sure, and it remains to be seen if a new record will be set.
