Mediaset: Idea of swap deal between Milan and Juventus cannot be ruled out – the obstacles

By Oliver Fisher -

The Juventus and Milan have not completely abandoned the idea of a swap deal between Alessio Romagnoli and Federico Bernardeschi, a report claims.

There are some doubts about Romagnoli’s future at present, given his contract with Milan will expire in 2022 and there have been many exit rumours, seeing as his agent is Mino Raiola. Without an agreement this summer, it is possible that the Rossoneri would be forced to sell him or use him in some kind of operation.

According to the latest from SportMediaset (via Calciomercato.com), the idea of Romagnoli moving to Juventus in exchange for winger Bernardeschi cannot be totally excluded at the moment, however there are some obstacles to overcome.

There remain the difficulties linked both to the different salary with that Bernardeschi earns – which is considered too high by the Rossoneri – and then there is a difference in the market value of both players as per the report.
