Mediaset: Inter enter race for Brest star and are favourites due to possible double operation

A surprise report has claimed that Inter have surpassed AC Milan in the race to sign Romain Faivre from Brest.

According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanLive), Inter want a luxury midfielder for Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 formation and they believe that Faivre is exactly that man.

Faivre is Milan’s number one goal for the attacking midfielder position but it is the Nerazzurri who now have a preferential lane with Brest. That is because they are willing to send two young talents on loan there in Agoumé and Salcedo, a double operation that would favour market relations between Inter and Brest.

Inter’s intention might actually be to secure Faivre today, and then actually sign him in 2022, but either Milan must at this point accelerate to avoid losing such a market opportunity given that they are still in need of a reinforcement for the role with the days ticking by.
