AC Milan director Paolo Maldini is in Ibiza again and he has met with the agent of a Sassuolo star while out there, a report claims.
According to what SportMediaset (via MilanNews) are reporting, Maldini is having a short vacation in Ibiza and he has taken sporting director Ricky Massara with him, so it is perhaps no surprise that some mercato-related meetings have taken place.
One of them was with the agents of Hamed Junior Traoré of Sassuolo, a versatile forward who can play virtually anywhere in the trident behind the centre-forward, but the Neroverdi will not sell him cheap.
They are asking for €30m to sell him and this rather high demand has put the brakes on Milan’s interest somewhat, with Club Brugge’s Charles De Ketelaere and Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo their primary targets as a result. Either way, the desire is there to strengthen the attack ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
